Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems to ensure high performance, scalability, and security.
- Drive architectural decisions and implement practices that strengthen the tech stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions from concept to deployment.
- Own the technical roadmap for system components and contribute to the overall backend architecture.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues to continuously improve product reliability.
- Ensure backend systems and APIs are optimized for performance and maintainability.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. A strong passion for computer science principles is key.
- Experience: 1-6+ years of experience solving complex problems and building systems from scratch.
- Proven experience in handling complex systems, focusing on scalability, sustainability, and reliability.
- Demonstrated ability to build secure products that generate high user engagement and satisfaction.
- Familiarity with server-side architecture, APIs, databases, infrastructure, and system design.
- Track record of bringing new practices, architecture choices, and initiatives that enhance the technical stack.
- Ability to independently drive projects and own technical roadmaps for backend systems/components.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in distributed systems, cloud platforms, and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in backend languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js).
- Strong understanding of API design, RESTful services, and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
