Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Backend Developer at Workassist located in Gurugram. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the back-end logic of the website or platform, collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of requests.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software programs using PHP/Laravel, MySQL and other related technologies.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Contribute to the development of software architecture, design, and infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain security protocols and procedures.

Competencies:

• Strong experience with Laravel and related technologies such as PHP, MySQL
• Experience with front-end technologies such as Vue.js
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with database technologies such as MySQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• B-Tech in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

• Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills
• Experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Strong understanding of Front-End Development and Programming
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Knowledge of database technologies and version control systems
