Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Node.js backend systems and APIs.
- Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Understand the basics of infrastructure management and deployment processes on AWS/GCP.
- Assist in integrating backend systems with cloud services.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
- Automate deployment processes to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Work with messaging and streaming platforms like Kafka for building scalable and resilient applications.
- Ensure the setup of monitoring and alerting rules using tools like AWS CloudWatch.
- Implement security-first approaches while deploying and developing new resources.
Secondary Roles & Responsibilities:
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Keep documentation up-to-date.
- Apply knowledge of cloud networking fundamentals (DNS, VPCs, Subnets) when necessary.
Technical Skills / Products:
- Node.js, Express.js, NestJS

- Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Master s/Bachelors in Computer Science or a related field is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong documentation and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and diverse team environment.
