Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) with GoLang expertise to join our rapidly growing engineering team. As a key member of the backend development team, you will play an integral role in building high-performance, scalable, and reliable systems that power innovative retail technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentorship & Guidance: Mentor and coach junior engineers, providing technical guidance to help them grow and deliver high-quality work.
- Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, quality standards, and addressing technical debt.
- System Design & Scalability: Contribute to the design, architecture, and improvement of complex backend systems, ensuring stability and scalability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, etc.) to ensure smooth integration and deployment of software solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in GoLang, Cloud technologies, and backend development trends.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on backend technologies.
- Strong proficiency in GoLang (minimum of 1 year of recent experience in GoLang).
- Experience with Public Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Solid understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
- A passion for writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Caching mechanisms, Message Queues, and DevOps tools.
- Previous experience in mentoring junior team members and breaking down complex problems into manageable tasks.
- Exposure to multiple programming languages is a plus.
Working Hours:
Flexible working hours from 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM.
Notice Period:
Immediate to 15 days preferred.
