Who you are
- An accomplished back-end Python developer with 34 years experience along with 2 years of experience in DevOps.
- Demonstrated understanding of Python, particularly Flask and its extensions.
- Proven experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible), and monitoring.
- Proficient in automated testing frameworks and methodologies to ensure high-quality code delivery.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure for deploying and managing applications.
- Hands-on experience in data manipulation, querying, and database management. (brownie points for BigQuery)
- Experienced in developing and managing backend for SaaS applications.
- Expert in API integration with GraphQL.
- Proficient in SDK development to allow third party integrations with our platform.
- Possessing problem-solving skills and the ability to fix technical issues.
- Experienced team leader, ensuring adherence to best practices and project timelines.
- Worked on Python projects previously, and references are required.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- Bonus points for digital marketing knowledge and experience.
What you will do:
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient Python code for optimal application performance.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process.
- Manage databases using BigQuery and SQL for data integrity, performance, and scalability.
- Develop and manage APIs for integration with third-party services.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of SaaS solutions for high availability, scalability, and security.
- Develop and maintain SDKs for seamless service integration into third-party applications.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and project timelines.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards to maintain code quality.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless feature integration and delivery.
