Role: Backend Developer Intern
Location: Remote
Duration: 3-6 months (potential for full-time conversion)

What You'll Do:- Collaborate with our product team to design and implement new features on Unimayt's backend.
- Build, optimize, and maintain API endpoints using FastAPI.
- Work with WebSockets to build real-time chat functionality for student interactions.
- Use GitHub for version control, ensuring smooth collaboration and deployment.
- Coordinate with the frontend team and integrate features using ReactJS.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing systems for better performance.
- Assist in writing unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability.
Requirements:- Experience or interest in FastAPI or similar frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and WebSocket protocols.
- Familiarity with GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
- Basic understanding of ReactJS for frontend-backend integration.
- Passion for learning and applying new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with strong communication skills and an eagerness to grow.
Nice-to-Haves:- Familiarity with database management (SQL/NoSQL).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker).
- Experience with real-time systems and scaling APIs.
