Job Description

A global media and technology company is looking to hire a level 4 Backend Java Engineer. The ideal candidate will have 7 yrs experience on Python, Golang, Java, Angular and using industry established products and techniques like Kubernetes, Oracle DB, OpenApis, and microservices. This engineer will be responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications. This Backend Java Developer will be responsible for designing new software and web applications, supports applications under development and customizes current applications. As well as assisting with the software update process for existing applications and rollouts of software releases. About 70-80% of their day will be coding individually. They must be able to come on-site 4 days a week in Chennai, India.

Compensation is dependent on skills and experience - Target pay is $10-$12 USD per hour.
