Job Description:

As a Back-End Developer at Befog, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs.

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Ensure security and data protection across applications.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Develop and manage databases, including writing queries and optimizing performance.

Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role.

Strong proficiency in server-side languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, PHP, or C#.

Experience with web frameworks such as Express.js, Django, Flask, Spring, Ruby on Rails, or ASP.NET.

Solid understanding of database management, both SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).

Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.

Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.

Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
