Responsibilities
- Implement and configure Microsoft Defender for Cloud to monitor and manage cloud security posture across Azure and other cloud platforms.
- Conduct continuous security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, compliance gaps, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and enforce cloud security policies and best practices using Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
- Integrate Microsoft Defender for Cloud with other security tools and platforms to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents related to cloud environments, leveraging Defender for Cloud's threat detection capabilities.
- Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and security teams to embed security controls and practices into cloud infrastructure and development workflows.
- Generate and analyze reports on security posture, incidents, and compliance status, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with Microsoft Defender for Cloud updates, features, and industry trends to continuously improve security practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud or similar CSPM tools.
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud services, security features, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in implementing and managing cloud security controls and policies using Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS).
- Familiarity with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI) to manage and enhance security operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
