We are looking for an experienced Data Architect.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Data Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver, a collaborator, and an innovator with a passion for crafting scalable data architecture in the Azure cloud environment.

This role will be part of the DataOps team within our DigiHub in Mumbai. DigiHub is part of the corporate DigiTech team which focuses on digital strategy to achieve digital transformation in the company

You will have a great opportunity to create a broad network internationally with multiple stakeholders and senior management across the business.

This role will report into DigiHub Mumbai.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement secure, robust, and scalable data solutions using Azure services like Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Ensure data architecture aligns with business goals and facilitates data analytics and business intelligence.

Develop data governance strategies, including data quality, metadata management, and data life cycle management.

Optimize data flow, storage, and integration across the organization using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.

Provide architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for data management for DataOps.

Implement data security measures, including access controls and data encryption, in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Monitor and optimize system performance, recommending and executing improvements.

Stay current with Azure services and industry best practices, introducing innovation to maintain cutting-edge solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Masters preferred.

3 to 5 years of experience.

Azure Solutions Architect certification is highly preferred.. (AZ305)

Azure Data Factory proficiency. ( DP-203)

Proficient in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes.

Knowledge of Python or Scala for data processing is a plus.

Experience with implementing and managing data governance.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
