Skills Required
- 3-5 years of experience with design, configuration, and engineering of network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, routers, switches, load balancers, Windows servers, Linux servers, container operating systems and other devices
- Proven ability to troubleshoot large scale, complex networks and ability to use customer-first thinking in response management
- Able to work with other team members to ensure system integrity, security, and ongoing performance
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent major with a networking, security, or hosting interest
Job Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and upgrade network devices including firewalls, load-balancers, routers, and switches
- Maintain virtual infrastructure in multiple cloud environments in AWS, Google Cloud and Azure, supporting Kubernetes, Docker and Windows systems
- Perform timely response and technical support to incidents, requests, outages, and automated alerts
- Provide support for user requests (i.e. internal software, password/login assistance, email, laptop issues, etc.)
- Keep up to date documentation of system diagrams & architecture
- Deploy and maintain security solutions in multiple environments
- Provide account activation & laptop maintenance for all users
- Build out and maintain multiple software environments
- Administering systems, applying fixes and patches
- Software development support working with Python and .NET developers
- Potential for travel to support local offices
