Overview
The Azure Cloud Data Engineer plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions within the Azure ecosystem. They are responsible for implementing data pipelines, optimizing data storage and processing, and ensuring the reliability and security of data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement :
- 5+ years of strong Graph database (Neo4j/TigerGraph) experience and its query language. (4+ years will work)
- Demonstrated Hands-on Development including Graph Modeling & Ingestion.
- Must have experience in Cypher/GQL and APOC & GDS library
- Knowledge of GraphQL is a must.
- Graph related administration skills like query tunning, database tunning, etc...
- Exposer to taxonomy, ontology and knowledge graph using RDF.
- Proven skills on Python, PySpark and confluent kafka
- Exposer to DevOps CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud is a must
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining data solutions in Azure environment
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#
- Experience in ETL processes and tools
- In-depth understanding of data modeling and database design
- Experience with data processing and analytics platforms such as Azure Databricks
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices
- Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks
- Experience with data integration, transformation, and migration
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., DP-200, DP-201, or DP-203) are a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good understanding of data security and compliance requirements
