Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, with a strong emphasis on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. Additionally, expertise in Azure functions, Web/Logic apps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) deployment and configuration is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures on Azure, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards.
- Infrastructure as Code: Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of Azure resources.
- AKS Management: Deploy, configure, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, including monitoring, scaling, and troubleshooting.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure that cloud solutions meet business requirements and compliance standards.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture designs, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
- Cost Optimization: Monitor and analyze cloud resource usage to identify opportunities for cost savings and performance improvements.
- Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to team members on best practices for Azure cloud solutions and Terraform usage.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and deployment, specifically with Microsoft Azure.
- Proven experience in using Terraform for IaC, including module creation and state management.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, and AKS.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Terraform for managing cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
