Azure APIM Specialist - Contract Based (REMOTE)

Job Title: Azure APIM Specialist

Experience Required: 3-5 years with Azure APIM or similar platforms.

Type: 6 months contract and above

Location: REMOTE

Key Responsibilities:

- Azure API Management (APIM):Configure, manage, and implement APIs, policies, and products. Design API governance and manage policy fragments.

- API Design & Development: Design RESTful APIs and use OpenAPI for contracts and documentation.

- Azure Platform: Integrate APIM with Azure services and security features.

- GraphQL: Integrate GraphQL APIs with APIM.

- Backend Integration: Connect APIM with backend services, manage policies for authentication, authorization, and performance.

- Policy Management: Create and manage custom policies and policy fragments.

- Monitoring & Analytics: Track API usage, performance, and errors using Azure Monitor.

- High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Design HA architectures and DR strategies for APIM.

- Security: Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth, JWT, and API keys.

- Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD: Use Azure Bicep and DevOps for managing APIM configurations and deployments.

- Automated Testing: Design and implement API testing strategies using tools like Postman.

- Onboarding & Developer Portal: Manage API onboarding, customize the developer portal, and provide documentation.

- Networking: Configure networking components like VNet integration and network security for APIM.

Skills Required:

- Expertise in Azure APIM, RESTful API design, and API integration.

- Proficiency with Azure services, GraphQL, policy management, and security.

- Experience in CI/CD, automated testing, and networking.
