(MERP) is a certified Microsoft Gold Partner and 8(a) Woman-Owned Small Business that specializes in digital transformation and optimization for our customers. Focusing primarily on Case Management Systems and citizen engagement applications, MERP experts create enterprise applications using Microsoft Azure, Power Apps, Dynamics 365, Power Pages, SharePoint, Open AI, .NET, and C#. MERP has seven solutions on Microsoft's Apps Source portal, including Investigative Case Management and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) solutions. MERP's customers include federal agencies, state and local governments, non-profits, and commercial organizations.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect solutions that leverage Azure services and Azure OpenAI to address evolving AI/ML requirements.
- Collaborate with MERP customers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Describe and introduce Azure services and Open AI capabilities to internal and external stakeholders.
- Design solutions and implement Azure services and OpenAI technologies based on project objectives, scalability, performance, and cost considerations.
- Lead a team of developers, explaining the architectural vision, assigning technical tasks, soliciting creative solutions, and managing the implementation of the designed solutions to the customer's satisfaction.
- Work with the internal team members to deploy Azure solutions to existing Dynamics 365 and Power Apps business applications.
- Offer mentorship to a team of developers and engineers, providing technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead solutions development to drive growth. The primary focus is solutions that use technical innovation bringing mission value for both current programs/projects and new business capture efforts.
Requirements
- Academic degree is optional.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a solution architect with expertise in Azure and Open AI integration.
- Strong understanding of Azure Cognitive Services, Chat GPT, Azure Graph, and Cosmo DB
- Demonstrable knowledge of finetuning and embedding large language models; including the methods of adjusting pre-trained models to specific tasks or datasets.
- Strong understanding of Power Apps and Dynamics 365. Knowledge of Co-Pilot is a plus.
- The technical aptitude and experience to learn new technologies and understand the market and relevant cloud trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of the underlying principles and components of LLMs; such as neural network layers, activation functions, and specific architecture types used in LLMs like transformers.
