Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS and Terraform to
manage and improve our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for building, deploying,
and maintaining highly available, scalable, and secure cloud environments. The ideal candidate
will have a deep understanding of DevOps methodologies, automation, and infrastructure as
code (IaC) using Terraform. Experience with DEEP (Data and Enterprise Engineering Platform)
will be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform for
Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and infrastructure
updates.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enhance deployment
processes and environments.
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application
deployments.
- Monitor cloud environments for availability, performance, security, and cost
optimization.
- Ensure infrastructure is secure, resilient, and compliant with industry standards and
best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in production and nonproduction environments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior DevOps team members.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud computing and
DevOps practices.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation,
etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and tools like Jenkins,
GitLab, or CircleCI.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DEEP (Data and Enterprise Engineering Platform) or similar
platforms.
- AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).
- Experience with serverless architecture and tools like AWS Lambda and Fargate.
- Knowledge of security best practices and implementation in cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
