Job Description
We are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer who will be able to automate the platform for one of our Fortune 500 Client programs, which aims towards building an Enterprise Data Platform on AWS Cloud, for standing up AWS platform resources with DevOps automations, and support Data pipelines on AWS Data Engineering & Analytics resources. This is a high visibility, fast-paced key initiative will integrate data across internal and external sources, provide analytical insights, and integrate with the customer's critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Build AWS Cloud Formation templates for DevOps automation
Develop Infrastructure as Code configuration and templates for AWS Big Data.
Design and Configure AWS IAM policies, groups and service roles
Version control AWS infrastructure using Git and an IaC framework (Terraform).
Configure AWS Lake Formation policies for setting up tags and access control rules
Design and build CI/CD workflows for IaC deployment to AWS.
Store test artifacts and CI/CD output in Nexus repository.
Integrate with IaC integration testing (i.e. Checkov) to validate IaC before deployment.
Document process and design of CI/CD pipelines related to IaC.
Setup integration of Datadog with AWS CloudWatch via Kinesis.
Build Jenkins pipelines and work with Release Management Team to operationalize processes.
Perform Active Directory integration on AWS with SSO, for authentication and authorization.
Deploy and administer AWS MSK (Kafka) Cluster, Kafka Topics, Kafka Connect, and integrations to schema registry.
Key Responsibilities
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in computer science or related and minimum 8+ years of experience
Require hands-on experience with AWS CloudWatch & CloudFormation
Require hands-on experience on either Bamboo-CICD, Jenkins or Ansible
Require hands-on experience using JSON, XML, REST APIs
Preferred certification on one of - Solution Architect, DevOps Engineer by AWS
Ability to use AWS services, predict platform issues and design robust solutions
Require Technical Coordination skills to drive requirements and technical design with multiple teams.
