Job Title: AWS Data Engineer

As an AWS Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development, optimization, and standardization of data assets and new projects, working closely with Business Intelligence Analysts and key stakeholders. You'll manage the full lifecycle of data engineering, from requirement gathering and data preparation to final reporting, utilizing AWS services, Python, and SQL. Your contributions will directly add value to the company, streamlining data processes and providing business-critical insights.
Collaborate with Business Intelligence Analysts and stakeholders to identify data assets, metrics, and reporting needs.- Develop and maintain datasets using AWS services (Glue, Lambda), Python, and SQL to support dashboard reporting.
Build expertise in the data lake to guide engineers and stakeholders.
- Streamline data preparation processes to ensure automation and efficiency.
Organize, analyze, and prepare raw data based on business requirements.- Develop data pipelines to create master data files from various data sources.
Ensure continuous connectivity and data refresh from master data sources.
- Maintain data quality, reliability, and expertise in datasets.
6+ years of Data Engineering experience in ETL, data pipeline development, optimization, and testing using SQL, Python, and AWS services (Lambda, Glue, Redshift, S3).
- 3+ years of experience in Complex SQL tuning, Stored Procedures, and Data Warehousing best practices.
5+ years of experience in relational or Cloud database design and optimization (AWS Redshift/Aurora, SAP HANA, Oracle).- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills based on data-driven logic.
Experience in solution and project documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering results within project timelines.
Flexibility in adjusting work schedule for global team communication across time zones.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in business domains such as supply chain, pricing, sales & marketing, or finance.- AWS Cloud Certifications or Data Engineering certifications.
Familiarity with AI, Machine Learning, and advanced analytical algorithms.
- Experience with CI/CD, Agile methodology, and tools like Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow.
