AWS data engineer

Description

We are looking for an experienced AWS data engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in the job market context of India.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Build and deploy data models for various data sources
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes
• Ensure data integrity and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues
• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to develop insights and reports
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• 5-8 years of experience in AWS data engineering
• Strong understanding of AWS services such as S3, EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift, Glue, Athena, and Lambda
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
