JOB DESCRIPTION

• Role Title: AWS Cloud Engineer

• Location: Gurgaon, Haryana

• WORK FROM OFFICE

• Employment Type: Permanent

• Experience : 9 to 12 yrs

• Purpose to hire this position: AWS Cloud Infra provisioning and support across the Group.

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related information technology

• Technical Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proven experience as a

Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a focus on AWS and Strong Kubernetes In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, EKS, API Gateway, DMS, MSK, Cloudfront, CloudWatch, AWS SSO

• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools including Terraform and AWS Cloudformation.

Experience with cloud migration strategies and tools.

• Strong understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices in cloud environments.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Docker.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus. Linux & Windows administration

• Key Responsibilities:

Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS.

• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration.

Architect solutions that meet performance, security, compliance, and budgetary requirements.

• Assess existing on-premises or cloud-based infrastructure and develop migration strategies to AWS.

Execute migration plans with minimal disruption to operations, ensuring data integrity and security.

• Continuously optimize cloud resources to improve performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and address performance issues or potential failures.

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related problems, collaborating with other teams as needed.

Implement security best practices and compliance standards in AWS environments, including IAM policies, encryption, network security, and access controls.

• Monitor and respond to security incidents, conduct regular security assessments, and implement remediation measures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and support their initiatives.

• Document architecture designs, configurations, procedures, and best practices.

• Secondary Skills:

Agile process knowledge will be an added advantage.
