AWS Cloud Engineer

Must Have: Understanding of and ambition to work with AWS platform

Working knowledge of a configuration tool

Good knowledge of monitoring tools

Certificate management

Understanding of containerization

Linux system administration experience

Experience of infrastructure support

Technical Skills: Cloud Platform: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda

IaC Tools: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation.

DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Programming: Python, Bash/Shell scripting; JavaScript (Node.js) is a plus.

Networking & Security: VPC, subnets, load balancers, IAM, security best practices.

Monitoring & Logging: AWS CloudWatch About the Role: Key Responsibilities:

Support the implementation, running and upgrading of our software products on the clients Platform.

Identify and resolve issues with applications and cloud platform, following agreed procedures.

Analyze how customers use the system and collaborate with internal departments to identify patterns so that our Client Success, Platform and Development teams can address them

Proactively monitor and optimise alerts and/or notifications and address the issue or assign as required to other teams for resolution

Investigate causes of incidents and seek resolution, escalating as appropriate.

Document and close resolved incidents according to agreed procedures.

Analyses causes of incidents, and provide recommendations in order to minimise the probability of recurrence, and contributes to service improvement

Initiates and monitor actions to anticipate, investigate, and resolve problems in systems, processes and services.

Determine problem fixes and assist with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.

Automate management of all application components using provided automation tools.

Manage code deployments and environment sizing changes to controlled environments in a controlled, auditable manner.
