Position Overview:

As an AWS Athena, Glue, Quicksight Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions leveraging AWS services such as Amazon Athena, Glue, and Quicksight. You will play a crucial role in optimizing data processing, enabling insightful analytics, and driving data-driven decision-making across our ecommerce platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using AWS Glue for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage.

Create and optimize queries using Amazon Athena to enable fast and cost-effective analysis of large datasets.

Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Amazon Quicksight to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle, implementing best practices for data governance and security.

Stay updated with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and continuously seek opportunities to improve existing processes and systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience working with AWS services such as Athena, Glue, and Quicksight in a production environment.

Strong proficiency in SQL and query optimization techniques.

Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.

Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and understanding of ecommerce data domains such as sales, inventory, and customer behavior.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Data Analytics) are a plus.
