Job Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Legal Oversight: Deliver and manage all aspects of legal services for the Company and all Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and subsidiary companies within the group.
- System & Process Development: Establish and evolve appropriate legal systems, procedures, and frameworks for the company.
- Strategic Legal Counsel: Provide professional legal advice to senior management on the implications of strategic initiatives such as new business ventures, property investments, partnerships, technology adoption, and technology transfers.
- Litigation Strategy & Management: Develop and oversee litigation strategies, coordinate dispute resolution processes, and engage with relevant government departments and regulatory authorities.
- Legal Representation: Coordinate with solicitors and counsels for litigations, represent the company in court and other legal forums, and provide guidance and instructions to legal counsel/advocates.
- Drafting & Reviewing Legal Documents: Draft and vet critical legal documents, including but not limited to MOUs, Development Agreements, Project Management Agreements, Agreements for Sale, Powers of Attorney, Lease Deeds, Conveyance Deeds, Assignments, Declarations under the MAO Act, Deeds of Apartment, Deeds of Indemnity, and documents pertaining to RERA and GST compliance.
- Statutory Record Maintenance: Maintain and manage all relevant legal and statutory records for the company.
- Risk Analysis & Mitigation: Conduct detailed analysis of legal cases by collecting necessary data, identifying potential issues, and providing proactive solutions to mitigate risks at the initial stages. Draft appropriate responses to customer communications with legal implications.
- Cross-Functional Legal Coordination: Advise and collaborate with various functional departments, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, Finance, Liaison, Human Resources, Contracts, and Facility Maintenance, on legal matters impacting their operations.
- Legal Team Leadership: Develop, lead, and manage an effective legal team, fostering professional growth and excellence.
