nKey Accountabilities
- nDrive forward specific Stress Testing and Impairment (ST&I) transformation modelling initiatives, facilitate workshops and work with key stakeholders to actively manage day-to-day activities
- nPerform design related activities, author business requirements, functional specifications, and produce outputs such as Architecture documents and diagrams, business requirements documents (BRD), and functional specification documents (FSD), perform functional testing, support UAT
- nBring together Risk, Quants, Technology partners and business/process SMEs to achieve desired outcomes
- nIdentify business processes inefficiencies that delay the target end state.
nEssential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
- nExtensive knowledge of the banking and financial markets sector
- nBroad knowledge of modelling techniques including the model lifecycle for Stress Testing, have the ability to read, understand, write model documentation
- nUnderstand Stress Testing regulations / requirements (such as IHC CCAR, EBA stress test, ACS, and internal stress testing frameworks)
- nExceptional business analytical skills
- nAppreciation of data principles, including data modelling and data design
- nProven ability to work globally and develop close working relationships with peer teams in other regions
- nSolid problem solving skills
- nAbility to work independently and deliver with accuracy and attention to detail
- nHave track record and interest in working with large scale change, business and technology transformation programmes
- nHave Word, Power-point skills, with the ability to storyboard and produce best-in-class presentations
nDesirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
- nCertifications such as FRM (GARP), CFA, MBA Finance, CA/CPA, and or any advanced Finance / Risk qualifications
- nPython, Data Analytics, working knowledge of datasets, databases (such as SQL, equivalents) towards techno-functional skills
- nKnowledge of IFRS9 risk analytics would be advantageous
- nStress Testing and Impairment modelling knowledge and experience
- nExperience of finance transformation programs and demonstrable track record leading a variety of relevant projects from inception through design and implementation

nPurpose of the role
nTo develop business capabilities for Finance through key stages of functional design, data, end-to-end-process and controls, delivery, and functional testing.
nAccountabilities
- nFunctional Design: leveraging best practice concepts, and in collaboration with Line SMEs, support options analysis and recommendations as part of decision making.
- nData Analysis/Modelling/Governance: design conceptual data model underpinning all phases of the processes, and governance requirements in accordance with GDMS standards and principles.
- nEnd-to-End Process & Controls - development of target process and controls design/documentation and operational runbooks and aligning these components with organisational and role/service model design definitions. .
- nDelivery/Implementation Support: update design/functional requirements throughout the development cycle, and resolve RAIDS related to functional requirements and business processes. Project management for change programmes that have limited technology investment.
- nFunctional Testing: develop scripts and data to test alignment to requirement definitions, ahead of user testing cycles.
