Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated AV Pre-Sales & Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing pre-sales support, creating effective AV solutions, and collaborating closely with clients to meet their audiovisual needs.
Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Support:
- Engage with clients to understand their AV requirements and objectives. Provide technical expertise during the pre-sales phase, offering insights into AV solutions.
Solution Design
- Design comprehensive AV solutions based on client specifications and industry best practices.Create detailed AV system schematics, diagrams, and documentation.
Client Collaboration
- Work closely with clients to present and explain proposed AV designs, addressing any inquiries or concerns.Provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and products. Collaborate with vendors to understand product features and capabilities.
Collaboration With Sales Teams
- Partner with sales teams to develop proposals and presentations for clients.Assist in preparing accurate and competitive project bids.
Quality Assurance
- Conduct system testing and quality assurance checks on AV solutions.Ensure that designed solutions meet both client requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Audiovisual Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in AV pre-sales support and design engineering.
- Proficient in using AV design software and tools.
- Strong understanding of audiovisual technologies, signal flow, and integration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Industry certifications such as CTS, CTS-D (InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist - Design) are a plus.
- Familiarity with control systems (Crestron, AMX) and video conferencing solutions.
- Project management skills for coordinating AV installations.
