Advanced Diploma in Automotive Mechatronics is a course developed in collaboration with Mercedes Benz India Pvt. Ltd. Automotive Mechatronics is a life cycle activity that involves multidisciplinary integration of automotive mechanical and electronic systems. The advanced diploma in Automotive Mechatronics is a recently established course, developed to respond to the clear demand in the sector for graduates with advanced skills and education in the specialized field. The highly specialize ADAM course contains Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics / Embedded system, Vehicle systems and Soft Skills modules.The training is imparted in the areas of Electrical and Electronics Technology , Advanced Automobile systems/ Engineering and its Diagnosis , practical hands on experience on Mercedes Benz Car, Mercedes-Benz India Pvt. Ltd. factory visit etc. The methodology is a self reliant learning and team concept as being practiced successfully in the MBIL in house facility.

Responsibilities
The course content and delivery methodology is derived in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz India Pvt.Ltd. to suit the needs of the luxury segment automobiles. During the course the candidates will be able to access the Workshop Information System (WIS) - Online Technical Knowledge Portal of Mercedes- Benz for excellent comprehension of latest technology and related processes . The course consists of the following modules:
- Mechanical Module: Practical hands on Exprience on latest MB engine and transmissions assembly and disassembly , chassis systems, suspensions , steering and various braking systems, introduction to Pre- Delivery Inspection (PDI), Maintenance and servicing of Modern Vehicles etc.
- Electronics Module: Basic Electronics, Sensors, Wiring Diagram - symbols and designation of electrical components, sockets and pins diagrams, Basics of CAN bus and its application in networking etc. hands on experience on latest Mercedes- Benz Car.
- Advanced Automotive Systems: Vehicle Component Study , Different Vehicle Management System , Functions of Engine management , Emission control, management etc.
