Automotive Delivery Head

Overview
We are looking for a skilled and dynamic delivery lead who will ensure the seamless integration of creativity and strategic insight into every facet of the delivery spectrum, from operational excellence to customer delight, thus shaping the organization's future in the IT & Engineering landscape.
Responsibilities
Main tasks include specifically:
- Heading delivery for Engineering, Digital, Embedded Systems.
- Good stakeholder management & convincing skills.
- Experience in building the teams and delivering end to end projects.
- Exposure working in matrix organization of a GDC set up.
- Own P&L for a given portfolio and collaborate across primary portfolios of general automotive software.
- Organizing the project team in alignment with customer and front office/ onsite teams.
- Ensuring delivery readiness from kick off date of the project/program.
- Ensure smooth transition and sign of Contractual commitment (MSA/SOW) of GDC in collaboration with sales and onsite teams.
- Project /program planning, execution methodologies and processes, governance.
- Ensure delivery excellence and respective KPIs (OTD, FTR, SLAs, etc) to exceed customer expectations and achieve very high CSAT score.
- Establish seamless working relationship with customer and onsite for smooth execution and repeat business.
- Should be very strong in delivery operations, example, different methodologies for engineering and software domains, team ramp ups, capacity management.
- Demonstrate high degree of people leadership to drive team motivation and productivity for setting up and sustaining high performance teams.
- Should be able to interface with Germany & other Geographies.
Required skills
- 18 years of experience in building and delivering complex distributed software systems.
- Primarily from software experience in engineering services domain but should also have led integrated product engineering team.
- Handled a team size of 400+ resources.
- Should have serviced/managed projects/accounts that were based in India.
- Exposure of delivering projects across customers in Automotive & Aerospace domain.
- Exposure to evaluation of products and technology solutions.
- Experience in various Software size/effort estimation techniques.
- Technology depth across diverse set of technologies.
- Core hands on experience of automotive software domain including but not limited to in vehicle architecture (legacy & modern architecture), Smart & connected vehicle architecture, software defined vehicle & its eco system.
- Experience in ECU software, deep knowledge on Autosar different layers, zonal architectures & HPC
- Experience working on Digital cockpit, infotainment systems, connectivity protocols etc.
- Working knowledge of sensorization for smart & connected vehicles, telematics & interfacing to cloud edge computing
- Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Should be well versed with all V&V activities including HIL, SIL, MIL from software development point of view. In addition, have knowledge on data & AI analytics.
Required experience
Experience in working with leading IT / Engineering service providers.
Experience in working with leading OEM and MSPs
Experience supporting internal and external stakeholders across different countries.
Previous experience working with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or automotive startups is highly desirable.
Experience working in a client-facing role, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Experience in sales support, including developing technical proposals, conducting product demonstrations, and supporting business development activities.
Required education
Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
