Job Role Responsibility
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled VMware, VxRail, and vSphere professional with expertise in VRA (VMware Realized Automation) to join our team. As a Virtualization Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing complex virtual infrastructure solutions using VxRail and vSphere technologies.
We are looking for a cross functional Team Player to join the Team to support the Managed Services to one of our top customers.
Open to flexible / part time work arrangements for the right candidate.
Lead role in the VRA (VMware Realized Automation) Suite space.
VMWare Administration Duties
Design and deploy VMware-based virtual environments using VxRail and vSphere
Develop and maintain automation workflows using VRA to streamline IT processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet those needs
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to virtual infrastructure, including VMs, hosts, storage, and networking
Stay up-to-date with the latest VMware technologies and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve existing processes and systems
Provide expert-level support for internal teams and customers on VxRail and vSphere-related topics
Skills
3+ years of experience working with VMware virtualization products (vSphere, ESXi, etc.)
Strong understanding of VRA concepts, including workflow design, automation scripting, and integration with other tools
Experience deploying and managing VxRail hyperconverged infrastructure solutions
In-depth knowledge of vSphere architecture, including VMs, hosts, storage, networking, and security
Familiarity with VMware's API (vAPI) and SDK for automating workflows using VRA
Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python or PowerShell
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
