Responsibilities:
- Own End-to-End QE responsibility for one or more Small to Medium sized products
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript
- Hands on experience of API testing and tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
- Conduct end-to-end testing to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of web applications.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test strategies and integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline configurations.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve test coverage and quality.
- Analyze test results, identify trends, and report findings to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test plan, automation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Proficiency in Playwright for automated testing.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with other testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Cucumber.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
