Job Summary:

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using TypeScript and Playwright. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Design and develop automated test scripts using TypeScript and Playwright.

2.Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data.

3.Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects and ensure software quality.

4.Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

5.Identify opportunities for test automation and implement best practices to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

6.Debug and troubleshoot issues related to automation scripts and provide timely resolutions.

7.Document and report test results, providing clear and actionable feedback to the development team.

8.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in automation testing and apply them as appropriate.

Qualifications:

1.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

2.Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role.

3.Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Playwright.

4.Experience with CI/CD tools and processes

5.Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

6.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

7.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

8.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

1.Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

2.Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
