Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Testing Engineer with expertise in Java and Selenium to join our dynamic team at Purple Drive Technology. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing and be ready to participate in a walk-in interview in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using Java and Selenium.
- Perform comprehensive test planning, including test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
- Identify, report, and track defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Execute regression, functional, and integration tests for web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Continuously improve the automation framework to increase test coverage and performance.
- Maintain and update existing test automation scripts as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Automation Testing using Java and Selenium.
- Strong knowledge of testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
- Experience in writing test scripts for web applications.
- Hands-on experience in identifying test cases suitable for automation.
- Knowledge of version control tools like Git.
- Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Familiarity with API testing and other automation tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Knowledge of databases and SQL.
