Dive into the dynamic world of Ocean Technologies Group! We're seeking a passionate and skilled Automation Tester to join our vibrant Engineering Team.
As a key player in our testing team, you will be responsible for ensuring top-notch quality in our software and systems. Collaborate with a team of experts to design and maintain test cases, create efficient and reliable test scripts, and build robust test frameworks. Your work will have a significant impact on our cutting-edge projects.

Your Voyage Ahead
Automation Framework Development:
- Utilize test automation tools to test features across a wide range of technologies, ensuring product compliance with requirements.
- Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining an automation framework.
Automated Testing
- Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable automated tests.
- Maintain Selenium test cases.
- Hands-on experience in Data Driven Testing and Maven projects.
- Develop custom XPath identifiers for locating objects on web pages.
- Write test cases using element locators.
Collaboration And Training
- Engage with testers and train them to implement and use test tool solutions.
- Log defects as necessary, communicate with technical and business stakeholders, and ensure defects are resolved, including re-testing.
Performance And Load Testing
- Define load test strategies and design load testing scripts.
- Execute performance tests and identify performance issues using performance monitoring tools.
Test Documentation And Reporting
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test scenarios, test plans, test data, test cases, and defect reports.
- Analyze test results, communicate and report test activity, and highlight risks.
Agile Development
- Work across the Software Development Lifecycle to ensure product delivery aligns with the published roadmap and planned release cycles.
- Contribute to defining and developing a sprint backlog to achieve goals set by the Product team.
- Participate in all Agile ceremonies and activities, being accountable for sprint deliverables.
Recommended to bring on board:
Experience
- At least 4 years of experience in automation testing with web applications.
- Extensive automation testing experience using Selenium tools.
- Hands-on experience in API level testing.
- Exposure to mobile automation (added benefit).
Skills And Attributes
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, in English.
- Excellent observation skills and high attention to detail.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Motivation and drive to improve product quality through enhanced testing methods and approaches.
- Willingness to share knowledge and skills with software test engineers, supporting them as they adopt new testing methods and approaches.
