Role Summary & Role Description
As Software Quality Assurance Engineer you will
- Create test scenarios and implement functional test cases (automated and otherwise) that will serve as acceptance test criteria for enhancements and new applications
- Work closely with developers and quality assurance members to run test suites and research errors.
- Find ways to enhance the testing process with new tools, strategies or techniques.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience working with various data storage systems.
- Willing to learn new technologies and push the boundaries of test automation to achieve measurable efficiencies.
- Drive testing modules across multiple platforms including AML Transaction Monitoring.
- Participate all agile meetings and co-ordinate with offshore/onshore teams.
- Work with users and developers to understand and develop the functional and automation test scripts.
These skills will help you succeed in this role
- 8 to 9 years of experience in Software testing minimum 5 years experience in Automation using Java and Selenium.
- Hands on experience on creating new framework for UI and WebService automation. Should be able to understand existing framework and contribute for enhancement of the framework.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git, for collaborative development.
- Experience on creating CICD using Jenkins.
- Experience with platforms such AWS and Quantexa.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent knowledge in SDLC process - include creating, maintaining and executing automation/functional test plans, writing test scripts against software platforms, communicating test results, defect tracking and participating in day to day QA activities.
- Should be able to work independently with minimum inputs and directions. Will be expected to mentor and guide the team on automation.

Strong in Java/Python, Selenium, Functional testing
Exposure to JIRA and Agile methodilogy
Good To Have Skills
Pyspark, DataLake, DataBricks, Tableau, UNIX, Finance background a plus
ESP is a plus
Good to have ETL automation knowledge
