Automation Test Analyst - Unified Functional Testing & Oracle EBS

Experience: 4-6 Years

Location: Pune

The testing team defines, develops, maintains, and executes test scripts for IT projects, patches, change requests and/or maintenance items. The team strives to ensure that system requirements are satisfied for internal and external application users. We ensure project testing is complete, and testing risks are identified prior to any implementation.

The test management team provides regression, integration, performance and automated functional testing for multiple platforms. The team works closely with users and development teams to keep the tests up to date.

The new team member will also provide critical assistance in helping both functional users and developers in application testing across all organizations and applications.

Qualifications: -

General Skills

1. Broad and progressive knowledge of Oracle applications and modules (EBS and APS).
2. Minimum five years experience as implementer or functional support resource for Oracle
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
4. Work well independently, self-motivated and directed.
5. Good judgment and the ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.
6. Strong analytical, problem solving and planning ability. Detailed oriented.
7. Ability to multi-task to accomplish workload efficiently. Excellent time management skills.
8. Good work ethic and general business acumen.
9. Working knowledge of testing concepts, verification and validation techniques, defect management, quantitative methods, risk management and measurement programs.
10. Project Management experience

Technical Skills for functional testing:

1. Strong experience in UFT (Unified Functional Testing) version 12and later.
2. Strong experience in the automation of Oracle Application with UFT.
3. Experience of creating and maintaining the automated script library.
4. Programming experience and development background in VBScript.
5. Advanced level knowledge in the use of MS Excel.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Good communication skills (writing and speaking).
8. Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Application.
9. Working knowledge of testing concepts, verification and validation techniques, defect management, quantitative methods, risk management and measurement programs

Technical Skills for performance testing:

1. Strong testing experience in LoadRunner 11.52 and later with Oracle ERP/Web applications.
2. Development background in programming C/C++.
3. Should have in-depth knowledge related to correlation and handling dynamic data.
4. Strong functional knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 Application.
5. Good communication skills (writing and speaking)
6. UFT 12 and later experience is preferred.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
