Automation Test Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Collaborate with the development and QA teams to understand the application features and testing requirements.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and report defects with detailed documentation.
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
• Continuously improve the test automation framework and processes.
• Participate in the design and implementation of test plans and test cases.
• Ensure test coverage, traceability, and adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain and update the test automation environment, including test data and test environments.
• Provide regular updates on test progress, results, and any issues encountered to the project team.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in test automation and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Appium).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
