Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Service Engineer specializing in Automation to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning services for various automation systems.
The Service Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and optimal performance of automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
Execute site works including installations supervision, commissioning & startups activities.
Conduct Site Surveys as per project requirements.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful integration of automation solutions.
Development of logics & HMI Graphics
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to automation equipment promptly.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure system reliability.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing their queries and concerns.
Provide Corrective and Preventive maintenance support.
Hardware designing & implementation for Automation Systems including PLC, DCS, Substation Automation system.
Related experience IPCS, ESMC, SIACAM, EDG Controls, HVAC Controls, Loading Arm Controls, Analyzers, Wellhead Control Panels, Skids etc.
Aware of/have a conceptual understanding of major industrial standards being followed
Understanding of major instrumentation being used and clarity on the working principle
Understands/can gather required Information from customer specifications (including functional requirement specifications, P&IDs, C&Es, drawings, narratives, philosophies, etc.)
Have carried out System Staging, Internal Testing & FAT Training:
Conduct training sessions for clients and internal staff on the operation and maintenance of automation systems.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, manuals, and documentation updates.
Develop service documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control / Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
Proven experience in servicing and maintaining automation systems.
Strong knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems, industrial control systems and substation automation system
Excellent problem-solving, maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
Experience: Minimum 8 plus years of experience.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in Automation or relevant field by OEMs like Siemens, GE, Allen Bradley, ABB, Honeywell etc
Familiarity with industry-specific safety standards
Experience on Network protocol such as IEC61850, TCP/IP, RS 485 etc
Hands on Experience in various automaton PLC/SCADA such as Siemens, GE, Allen Bradley, ABB, Honeywell etc
Accommodation, food (on site only) and transportation will be provided by the company.
