Automation Engineer (PLC & Scada)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Jaipur. As an Automation Engineer (PLC) at Infrared Power Techsol Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Power Plant control using PLC and SCADA systems. Your day-to-day tasks will include system integration, programming, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in PLC programming and PID controllers
• Proficiency in programming languages such as ST language
• Knowledge of industry-standard communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 60870-101/104 & IEC 61850 ) and networking
• Experience with HMI development and visualization
• Exposure to Wago PLC systems will be added advantage
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
