The Automation discipline can provide innovative solutions in complete life science and pharmaceutical projects. This also includes understanding the clients complex process facilities, with Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP) regulated requirements for a pharmaceutical production facility. The Department consists of dedicated engineers, specialized in different phases of the project including Conceptual Design, Basic Design, Detailed Design, Commissioning and Qualification.
How You Might Spend Your Days
- Assisting the lead for creation of Functional specification
- Application development based on approved Design qualification documents.
- Development of HMI Screens and testing of the same.
- Development of Test Plans and test references for validation of the Design.
- Peer reviews to ensure consistency based on programming standards and Design guidelines.
- Testing and verification is performed to verify that programming or coding is performed in accordance with the FS and to prove its functionality.
- Commissioning and Qualification to ensure the facilities, systems and equipment meet the requirements of end-users and regulatory agencies in collaboration with other relevant departments.

You will work in a project-oriented, international climate supporting our customers and colleagues across globe. Our projects cover the full range from small revamp projects to high-volume greenfield production facilities. NNE handles projects for a vast number of international customers and intends to continue expanding our business abroad. Consequently, you may expect travelling activities of shorter or longer duration.
Who You Are.
An Engineering degree in Electronics/ Electrical/Industrial Automation or similar.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience preferably from Pharma/Life science/ Biotech or any other process automation background.
The miles you've walked.
- Experience with some of the following control systems:
SCADA: G.E iFix /WinCC/Aveva (Intouch Wonderware)/Ignition.
PLC's: Siemens TIA Portal, Simatic Manager (S7-400 and S7-1500), Allen Bradley (MicroLogix, Compact and Control Logix).
- Should be able to take ownership of tasks and deliver with high quality on time.
- Should be willing to learn different systems and adapt to business needs.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements GMP and GAMP in connection with pharmaceutical production. Good understanding of ISA S88 will be an advantage.
- Should understand PCS.
- Should have developed program from Functional specifications and system hardware specifications.
- Knowledge on Good engineering practice.
- Knowledge on Good document practice.
- Experience in Integration Specs, Installation packages, Test and Qualification protocols including test plans would be preferable.
- Developed program as per good programming practices.
- Executed Module integration Tests and FAT.
- SAT, IQ and OQ experience will be an added advantage.
