Automation Architect with Tosca

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilledAutomation Architect with expertise in Toscato lead the automation strategy and execution for enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks using Tosca and driving automation initiatives that support large-scale digital transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define, develop, and implement automation architecture and strategies leveragingTricentis Toscafor functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
2. Design and build scalable, maintainable, and reusable test automation frameworks to support enterprise applications and systems.
3. Lead the development of automated test scripts using Tosca to ensure comprehensive test coverage across different modules.
4. Collaborate with development teams, QA teams, and business stakeholders to identify test automation opportunities and ensure alignment with overall project goals.
5. Oversee the execution of automated test suites, analyze results, and ensure accuracy and consistency of test outcomes.
6. Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo) to enable continuous testing across different environments.
7. Provide leadership and mentoring to junior automation engineers and QA teams on Tosca best practices and framework development.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation challenges, ensuring minimal manual intervention.
9. Stay current with industry trends in automation, testing tools, and best practices, continuously improving the automation framework.
10. Engage in test planning, test strategy discussions, and participate in project and release meetings to ensure test automation is well integrated within the SDLC.

Required Skills:

1. 10+ yearsof experience in software test automation, with5+ yearsof hands-on experience inToscaautomation tool.
2. Proven expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks using Tosca for complex applications.
3. Strong knowledge of Tosca's key modules such as Tosca Commander, Tosca BI, Tosca Orchestrator, and Tosca Continuous Testing.
4. Experience in automating web, desktop, and mobile applications using Tosca.
5. Expertise inAPI testingandUI testingautomation using Tosca.
6. Strong experience with integrating Tosca automation intoCI/CD pipelines(e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab).
7. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
8. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize automation frameworks.
9. Excellent communication skills to interact with technical teams, business users, and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Tosca certification(e.g., Tosca Automation Specialist, Tosca Architect).
2. Experience withSAP automationusing Tosca.
3. Knowledge ofDevOps practicesand tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
4. Exposure to other automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, or TestComplete is a plus.
5. Experience with test data management and test environments in large enterprises.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
