Responsibilities:- Develop detailed technical drawings and plans for interior design and architectural projects using AutoCAD software.
Collaborate closely with interior designers, architects, and other project stakeholders to understand design requirements and translate conceptual ideas into accurate drawings.- Produce comprehensive interior layout plans, elevations, sections, and details, ensuring alignment with project specifications and standards.
Review and interpret design sketches, specifications, and other project documentation to create precise and cohesive construction drawings.
- Coordinate with project managers and design teams to incorporate revisions and changes into existing drawings, maintaining accuracy and consistency throughout the drafting process.
Conduct quality checks on drawings to identify and resolve any errors or discrepancies, adhering to industry standards and best practices.- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior draftsmen, supporting their professional development and enhancing overall team efficiency.
Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in interior design and architecture, integrating relevant knowledge into drafting practices.
- Education & Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an AutoCAD draftsman, with a specialization in interior design and architecture.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software, with advanced skills in 2D drafting.
Strong understanding of interior design principles, architectural standards, and construction techniques.- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to produce high-quality drawings within project deadlines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with interdisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to interior design and architecture.
Diploma or Associate's degree in Drafting Technology, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
