Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical or BE (Mechanical)

Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities): NEED - [Plant Layout, 3D modeler, ACAD+Solidworks]

Job Responsibility: Designer / Senior Designer

Should have hands-on Plant Layout drafting experience and system knowledge

The responsibilities will include:

1. To prepare GA drawings, 3D models, Outline and Load drawings, Flow Sheets, Plot Plan, in line with Process design, layout standards and industry standards.

2. To ensure that the layout prepared is in line with statutory requirements including safety and hazard assessment and facilitates ease of operation, erection and maintenance in site.

3. To interface with other disciplines (Civil, Electrical, Product Eng.) and collect inputs required for preparation and finalization of Plant layout documentation.

4. To be responsible for timely completion of plant layout documentation without any errors and within budgeted hours

5. Develop a mechanism to capture commonly made mistakes during drawing development stages from designers / vendors and develop a robust checking process to eliminate errors. Train and develop designers.

6. Participates in internal design review meetings for other projects and offer solutions related to layout.

Required skill set

1.Exceptionally skilled in 3D modeling and design using SolidWorks

2. Proficient in creating detailed 2D GA drawings.

3. Creating various design layouts and concepts for the projects with SW/ACAD tools.

4. Knowledge on Pyro and Grinding processing layouts, process ducting standards and Chute design for flowability and material handling layouts

5. Problem solving skills / Teamwork

6. Creative and innovative.

7. Solution orientation, Ownership, End to end project mindset with accountability.

9. Learning agility.

10. Good communication skill.
