Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an AV Programmer at UnifiedCommunications.com. The AV Programmer will be responsible for tasks related to programming, and user interface development in the A/V integration domain. They will work on projects to enhance the functionality and user experience of communication and collaboration hardware for Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms systems.
Job Requirements
Extensive Programming experience in the AV Industry
Experience in designing and engineering complicated integrated AV rooms
Deep understanding of complex customer requirements
Working with Sales and Engineering to support customer sales efforts.
Highly focused on creating solutions to delight customers
General knowledge and familiarity with building construction, the ability to read and understand
construction documents, plans, and specifications is a plus.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Display proficiency with PC office tools, such as: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft
Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
High degree of professionalism, diplomacy, integrity, and flexibility.
Mastery of design, engineering, drawing, CAD, proposal, and BOM skills
Advanced time management, project management, and analytical skills
Detail-oriented, efficient, and deadline-based
Excellent communications skills, with clients and customers, team, and stakeholders
Experience with continuous improvement process
Methodical and highly organized
Programming
Strong programming, configuration, and user interface (UX) design skills for audio, video, and
control systems
Work with the client and other team members who understand the client's needs to create
optimal workflows and user experiences
Escalation of issues with manufacturers
Specific knowledge of the devices and systems we design and deploy
Growing and maintaining programming skills and knowledge
Getting certified as required
