DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Patient Care Assistance:
- Assist patients with mobility, including helping them move to and from wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Support patients with basic hygiene needs like bathing, feeding, and grooming.
- Assist in transporting patients to diagnostic or treatment areas within the hospital.
2. Transportation of Materials:
- Carry medical supplies, equipment, and specimens within the hospital.
- Ensure proper handling and transportation of lab samples, reports, and medications between departments.
3. Room Maintenance:
- Ensure cleanliness of patient rooms, wards, and other hospital areas.
- Help in arranging beds and preparing rooms for new patients.
- Change linens and clean patient areas as directed.
4. Support to Medical and Nursing Staff
- Assist nurses and doctors during procedures, such as moving patients or handing over basic instruments.
- Carry out non-clinical tasks as instructed by medical staff, such as fetching materials or relaying messages.
5. Emergency Response:
- Respond quickly to calls for assistance from staff and patients.
- Assist in moving patients during emergencies, such as evacuations.
6. Documentation and Record-Keeping
- Maintain basic records of patient movements and assist in filling out patient forms.
- Keep track of transported materials or equipment.
7. Sanitation and Waste Management:
- Handle and dispose of medical waste following hospital policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in high-traffic areas, especially during infection outbreaks.
8. Miscellaneous Duties
- Handle various odd jobs around the hospital, including basic maintenance tasks.
- Attend to any other tasks assigned by the hospital administration or nursing staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 10,000.00 - 18,000.00 per month
