Job Description :
Responsible for administration for the Server Version and Cloud version Jira tool, plugins, and integrated software.
The resource must be an Atlassian SME, certification would be a bonus, with experience in the SERVER.
Experience of working on Atlassian applications like Confluence, Crowd, Fisheye Crucible & Gitlab
Confluence administration experience.on Server as well as Cloud
Experience of doing minor and major upgrade with & without downtime for JIRA and Confluence.
Manage and maintain Jira projects, schemes, configurations, workflows, postfunctions, validators, templates, and permissions.
Experience in using some of the main plug-ins that can be used within Atlassian tools such as Dataplane Reports, Gliffy, Test Management for JIRA, Big Picture, Time In Status, Scriptrunner is required so that users can be educated in their use, workflows can be optimised and reporting provided.
Vendor coordination to maintain integration JIRA with other services, backups, add-ons, upgrades and periodic maintenance tasks.
Design and implement custom workflows, fields, global permission, permission schemes, post functions, plugin installation, and test, etc.
Manage any Atlassian software for tool upgrades, and provide any required technical documentation to the user.
Responsible to create Jira dashboards for progress and status management, and metrics tracking.
Plugin and add on evaluation and installation on both staging and production JIRA, Confluence.
The resource must be confident about speaking to teams across the Partnership in both IT and the business about best practice and how to optimise their project to work as efficiently as possible. Each request should be looked at to check if there is a better way of achieving the result either by reuse of existing flows etc or by tilizing plug-in functionality.
