The Atlassian Administrator is responsible for end-to-end maintenance, configurations, actively contributing to small to medium size projects or components of a larger project, and working effectively as part of a team. As an independent contributor I/T professional, you will engage in problem solving and follow established standard operating procedures, while applying compliance requirements within the scope of your responsibility .
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring Atlassian product suite reliability and efficiency
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Atlassian product suite
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Work closely with the Information Security Team to ensure a safe Atlassian environment
- Develop and maintain documentation for Atlassian product suite
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Atlassian administration
- Deliver, manage, and monitor Atlassian system infrastructure services and operations
- Participate in the coordination of corrective actions as appropriate
- Analyze and document problems and their resolution
- Ensure the operational integrity of all changes to the Atlassian operating environment
- Contribute actively to small to medium size Atlassian projects or components of larger projects
- Apply compliance requirements (eg GxP) within scope of responsibility, provide documentation as necessary, and participate in compliance activities as required
- Analyze a chain of events and apply technical knowledge following established standard operating procedures and/or detailed specifications
- Provide coaching as a Subject Matter Expert to peers or less experienced staff
What we are looking for
- 2-4 years of experience in Atlassian administration (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, and associated plug-ins like Xray, eSign)
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in performing Atlassian installations, migrations and plugin installation
- Experience in using DevSecOps tools (eg Jenkins)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- General understanding of Kenvue operating companys products and basic business processes
- Understanding of the I/T organization and where to escalate operational problems
- Ability to resolve most problems directly within area of responsibility or by escalating the problem to the correct resource
- Ability to choose an approach or procedure for addressing a work task, seeking guidance as needed
- Ability to collect facts and basic rationale to make recommendations
