The Asst. Project Coordinator will support the Project Coordinator in managing day-to-day activities related to fire safety projects. This role involves preparing project proposals, coordinating with various teams, managing site activities, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
Assist the Project Coordinator in planning and executing fire safety projects.- Prepare offers and proposals for projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client specifications.
Send out inquiries for products and materials required for projects.
- Coordinate activities on various project sites in collaboration with the Site Engineer.
Liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.- Coordinate with the factory, sales, and accounts teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Maintain and update project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Assist in resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during the course of the project.
Monitor project progress and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Coordinator.
Education: Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the fire safety or construction industry.
Knowledge:
Basic understanding of fire safety systems and components is an advantage.Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
Certifications: Engineering degree and/or Project management certification is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in coordinating fire safety projects or working in a construction environment.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with project management software and tools.Soft Skills:
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, with strong interpersonal skills.
