Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.General Ledger Maintenance:
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor financial performance against budgets.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
Expense Management:
Monitor and control expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.Tax Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and timely submission of tax returns.Payroll Processing: Assist in payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Documentation and Filing:
Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation. Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and filed.Policy Implementation:
Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications:Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA) is preferred.Experience: 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with financial analysis tools and techniques.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present financial data clearly and concisely.Interpersonal Skills:
