We are seeking a dedicated System Administrator for Monitoring Tools, who is eager to learn and grow in the field of IT monitoring. This role will focus on supporting and maintaining monitoring solutions, including Splunk, Zabbix, SolarWinds, BigPanda, PagerDuty, Prometheus, and others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the administration and maintenance of monitoring tools such as Splunk, Zabbix, SolarWinds and Prometheus.
- Monitor system performance metrics and troubleshoot issues related to monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Support the configuration and customization of monitoring dashboards, alerts, and reports based on predefined templates and requirements.
- Implement monitoring solutions that meet organizational needs and industry standards.
- Assist in conducting health checks and routine maintenance tasks for monitoring environments.
Qualifications:
- bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1- 4 years of experience in Monitoring tools such as Splunk, Zabbix, SolarWinds etc
- Ability to work in shifts and participate in an on-call rotation schedule as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in Linux or Windows server administration.
- Relevant certifications in monitoring tools (eg, Splunk, Zabbix) are a plus.
