- The role of the entry level Associate Support Engineer is to analyze, design, develop and test interoperability solutions to ensure the integration of software, hardware, reliability, maintainability, safety and other requirements in the total engineering effort
- Additional responsibilities include formulating operational concepts; performing mission, functional, cost-benefit and risk analysis; selecting systems architecture; and preparing specifications for Rimini Street systems to ensure designs meet applicable security specifications
- Assists in the design of, and develop integrated solutions in accordance with, corporate standards and products
- This individual will support on-going Research & Development activities, have good oral and written communication skills, and perform work assignments under minimal supervision
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides basic technical support to customers by handling systems-related issues; may provide on-call technical support telephonically and/or electronically
- Assists in the analysis and resolves basic program support deficiencies and conducts testing to enhance performance
- Works on projects as assigned; assists in supporting the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects
- Implements and documents processes and procedures to ensure compliance with standard business practices Assists in the implementation of training tools and documentation
Provides basic technical consultation on current and proposed systems to other organizations and clients - Performs routine repairs, maintenance and upgrades of existing systems using solutions in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Investigates and resolves matters of significance
- Readiness of working in 24 X 7 shifts and support global client from India
- Readiness to be on-call during weekdays and weekends based on client requirement
- Other job-related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time
Skills
- Must have undergone training or certification in Oracle Apps DBA
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills - verbal & written.
- Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to work calmly and professionally in high pressure situations.
