Assess and understand the ETL jobs, workflows, BI tools, and reports
Based on the findings from the assessment, define a high-level roadmap for migration to Snowflake on AWS along with a future state reference architecture on Azure cloud
Responsible for end-to-end data analytics design and architecture for Snowflake in Aws
Improve existing data pipelines in the cloud for data transformation and aggregation.
Address a majority of technical inquiries concerning customization, integration, enterprise architecture and general feature/functionality of Snowflake
Setup, configure and deploy Snowflake
Guide the team to handle configurations for multiple departments/groups within a single environment stack.
Lead data analytics team for implementing the standard methodologies.
Enable partners to make key decisions with accurate data analysis, reports, and presentations of key findings.
Snowflake Solution Architect with expertise in Design, and Implementation of highly scalable, highly available, Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) services and solutions.
Collaborate with business users to create architecture in alignment with business need
Act as a technical subject matter expert for business users
Champion the adoption of reusable architecture assets to improve efficiency
Produce documentation to aid in the understanding of existing architecture solutions
Provide technical leadership as it relates to developing strategy, scalability, performance, architecture and overall high-level design to ensure solution quality.
Use standard methods of development spanning the full development lifecycle
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related area
5-7 years of relevant experience
Hands on experience working in migration projects and large chunks of data.
Experience with Python and SQL required.
Expertise in ETL, Data Warehousing Analytics, Ab Initio, Data stage. Any reporting tool experience, preferred.
Cloud experience required (AWS or Azure).
Advanced knowledge of leading architecture solutions in the industry area
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
Ability to demonstrate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
